Remediation Method Statements (RMS)
Where a Phase II Site Investigation has identified a significant contamination risk, it may be necessary to undertake remediation or mitigation to make the site suitable for it’s intended end use.
A Remediation Method Statement (RMS) is a document which details the recommended measures to be taken to make the site suitable for use, including any monitoring or validation works. The RMS discusses the required steps and documents that have to be prepared in order for planning conditions to be discharged by the Local Authority.
At DAM, we have extensive experience in preparing RMS documents which detail the remedial steps to be taken. Furthermore, having conducted the Phase I and Phase II stages of site investigation, we have all the relevant site-specific information to hand to inform the preparation of the RMS.
