Busy!

We are coming to the end of a busy couple of weeks of work that have included a wide variety of jobs including:


  • Cable percussion drilling on a site in Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis.

  • Window sample and cable percussion drilling at several nursery sites in Stirling Council.

  • Rotary drilling at a sensitive mining-affected site near Falkirk.

  • Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) at several sites around Glasgow.

  • Geophysical surveys for possible void detection on the A83.

  • Frequency Domain Electromagnetic (EM) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) surveys for mineshaft identification in Bo'ness.

  • Frequency Domain Electromagnetic (EM) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) surveys for possible below-ground tank identification in Dyce, Aberdeenshire.

  • Frequency Domain Electromagnetic (EM) for relict foundation asssessment in Edinburgh.

  • Purge and recovery gas generation assessment at a site in Denny.

  • Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) survey for substation site in Leven.

  • Soakaway testing to BRE 365 at various sites.

  • Water supply route sampling and laboratory testing to UKWIR guidelines in Edinburgh.

  • Topsoil testing to BS3882:2015 in Bo'ness.

  • WAC testing at school sites in Arbroath.
